Life passes by so quickly: children grow up fast, and we change too. Whatever the age and number of generations, invite your whole family to our sessions, from the oldest great-grandparent to the youngest great-grandchild. And don’t forget to bring your beloved dogs with you – after all, they’re part of your family too.   • We begin with a pre-session consultation, where we discuss what you would like to capture, and your expectations for the session itself.
  • Family sessions don’t have a time limit, so we can spend as much time as you wish to ensure we achieve what you desire.

Pregnancy is such a special and unique time – a precious memory that will last a lifetime.

When I look at future mothers through my lens, I want to reflect all the beauty, femininity,and emotions in your pictures – and how wonderful it will be to revisit all of that wonder, and the time you spent waiting to meet your baby.

There is no better way to capture these exceptional life moments than with an artistic maternity photography session. Those images will bring your memories, emotions, and feelings all back for you, and will help you to remember that time with your bump vividly – because once it’s gone, it’s gone!

It’s not just an amazing memory for yourself but for your child too, as they get older: seeing photos of theirexpectant mummy isa uniqueand incredible feeling.

About the session

Maternity pictures are best taken around 28-38 weeks into your pregnancy, but if you have a reason to come earlier or later, that’s no problem.

I provide stunning, luxuriousgarments to dress you and your bump, that will make you feel fabulous and comfortable as well. However, if you have your own ideas, please feel free to bring your own clothes as well.

Sessions take place in my studio in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire or at a chosen outdoor location.

I invite you to my cosy studio in Milton Keynes, or we choose a beautiful outdoor setting.

During our pre-session consultation, we discuss every little detail from your hair, makeup, and outfit to all your expectations of the shoot.

Our shoot will feature lots of laughter, ‘girly’ chats, great music and lots of fun. Above all, it’s a huge dose of positive energy. And you don’t have to be a professional model to learn beautiful poses; I’ll be there to guide you. Being yourself is more than enough, and I will take care of the rest.

Is there a greater delight than looking at your excited child, who cannot wait for their very own photoshoot? There is –seeing that same smile, years later, captured in a picture.

Trust me: I know that your child is your entire world. Whether they are tiny tots or a mature teenager, time flows relentlessly and the best way to catch these moments and remember them is through photos.

Without doubt, I can say that each children’s photography session is truly unique. The spotlight is on them, from the very beginning to the very end. I have props and costumes in studio, and we discuss this in the pre-consultation along with many other details – all to ensure that you as parents are satisfied with the photos, as well as the model themselves.

About the session

Your session can be held in the studio or outdoors. There are many beautiful and magical places around Milton Keynes and in the city centre itself, and outdoor sessions are a fantastic option for children who are more comfortable in open spaces and around nature.

And it’s not just One at a Time – I absolutely love to photograph siblings together. During this session we capture as many great images as possible, of your children together and singly.

In the world of art, pictures in the Fine Art style are set apart with their dramatic lighting.This can be seen in Rembrandt’s work, as well as other Baroque-style art. In photography, the Fine Art effect is achieved through the intense use of retouch rather than the standard retouching used in other imageediting methods.

Strong contrasts, heavy use of tonal transitions, and lively and vibrant colours on dark backgroundsare all distinctive aspects of Fine Art photography.

Every session is individual, and carefully tailored to fit your needs and the image you want. The pre-session consultation will give me a deep understanding of the person or people to be photographed, so that I can create a visualisation that isdesigned specifically for the person. We will discuss everything from hairstyles to colour palette, clothing ideas and accessories, so that you will have exactly the image and effect you desire.
